People clearly thought I was mad wearing pyjamas for a sophisticated birthday meal. "Winnie where are your clothes?" This is a question I have gradually become used to in my current era of pushing boundaries with how much skin is on show. But hey, 20's are for living. I don't want my 50 year old self, mad for not flaunting what I once had. My grandkids need to be looking like, 'damn, you really had it ma'.

Back to the point... I was not wearing pyjamas. It was a co-ord set from PLT. I previously saw the striped blazer/top and trouser set on a few people on Instagram and vowed that this would be my next look. I love the sophistication and sex-appeal expressed through this look.

For the lady wishing to show a little less skin, you can always wear the laced bralet with a belt around the waist. You could even scrap the bra let, and just wear the belt; creating a subtle deep V neckline with the blazer.

On making this purchase, I was very reluctant to confirm my order. PLT were not (in fact, are not) being too favourable with their discounts. I mean 10% student discount is standard. I waited a whole week for a cheeky 20% off. Still 2 weeks later, as I am writing this post, there has not been a cheeky 20% off. Clearly I gave in and paid a heart-throbbing £49.50. I feel nauseous just writing it, in the flesh... in all it's totality and reality.

Despite the price, the benefit is that both the top and trousers can be easily paired with different items, and styled differently. The blazer can be worn with jeans, denim shorts, or even tied up into a crop top style. Then the trousers can be worn with crop tops, bralets or bodysuits for a more conservative look.

So not all is lost. However, if you are not planning to wear it asap, I recommend you wait for a cheeky boosted discount. It will be kinder to your pocket. Let's be patient...it'll come... *tumbleweed*.
